Radiology uses imaging to diagnose and treat diseases seen within the body. A variety of imaging techniques are used such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose or treat diseases. Intervention Radiology is the performance of (usually minimally invasive) medical procedures with the guidance of imaging technologies.

The Department of Radiology at CMRI helps in diagnostics and image-guided therapy. We have a team of specialists who have been specially trained to provide safe and efficient imaging services using state-of-the-art equipment. When their efforts are combined with quality medical care that our various departments provide, the healing process is that much faster and the patient recovers rapidly.

Be it an emergency or just routine diagnostics, the department offers services round-the-clock. Our radiologists do not work in isolation but are in constant touch with our specialists so that no time is lost in diagnosis and treatment process.

The department has 1.5 tesla MRI machine, 64 slice CT, 5 USG machines, Advanced Digital X-ray, BMD and Digital Mammography. Our radiologists perform a wide variety of examinations and interpret them with utmost accuracy.

The department offers a complete range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services. This is in line with the medical care that a condition demands including surgery. Our team of radiologists perform and interpret patient examinations to provide vital information that not only aids clinical care being offered to the patient but also makes it more efficient.

The exposure of the team to a variety of conditions hones their expertise in imaging techniques across patient profiles and age groups. The accurate interpretation of the radiology results has a significant impact on patient care.
