CMRI Department of Audiology and Speech Therapy
Audiology and speech therapy evaluate and treat people who have communication disorders. Audiology is concerned with the identification, measurement, and study of hearing and hearing impairments and with the treatment of people with hearing disorders. Speech therapy includes diagnosis and treatment of individuals with speech, language, voice, literacy and fluency disorders. Because speech and/or hearing problems are both communication disorders, audiology and speech therapy work together to determine sources of communication problems and to coordinate programs of rehabilitation.
The fully equipped state-of-the-art department of audiology and speech therapy at CMRI offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment pertaining to hearing and speech problems.
